Abercrombie & Fitch to sell Green-Growth Brand’s products

Popular young adult clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch has announced it is expanding its business with Green Growth Brands.

This news follows the companies decision to run with Ohio-based GGB in May. The GGB Seventh Sense line was sold in 10 Abercrombie destinations, including Nevada and Colorado.

Now, the high street retailer is aiming to sell cannabis company, Green Growth Brand’s CBD infused body care products. The products will be sold in more than 160 stores and include sugar scrubs and lip balms.

According to Brightfield Group, a cannabis-focused research firm, the cannabis industry is thriving, having the potential to bring $22 billion to the business by 2022.

CBD products do not contain any THC- the component in cannabis that creates the feeling of being ‘high’. This is the reason they are being allowed to be sold in retail shops in certain countries.

However, despite this information, some people and regulators worry about the potential possibilities with marketing cannabis products to minors.
