A US luxury pillow brand has released a CBD-infused pillow.
Pilozzz features an alternative inner fill with 100% recycled polyester with a removable outer zippered cover that is infused with a proprietary microencapsulation of CBD oils.
The company says the infusion stays active for at least 10-15 washes, and claims sleepers who use an additional pillowcase can still achieve the CBD benefits.
Studies suggest CBD can help manage anxiety, promote relaxation, and lead to restful sleep.
Joseph Maroon, MD, a neurosurgeon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center who has researched the effect of cannabis on the brain, says that CBD has properties that could help some people sleep better.
He adds that a major factor is its effectiveness easing anxiety and pain, both of which can make it harder to fall or stay asleep.

In a recent Consumer Reports survey, about 10%of Americans who reported trying CBD said they used it to help them sleep – and a majority of those people said it worked.
