CBD Emporium has announced the appointment of Paul Steinberg as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
As COO, Steinberg will report directly to President John Flanders and oversee national retail operations, logistics, as well as inventory and distribution model management for the retailer of premium CBD brands.
A company announcement says Steinberg brings more than 30 years in operational development experience with the last 20 years in global strategic development in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
His career has focused on building sustainable growth strategies at some of the world’s premier drug and device biotech corporations, including Abraxis Bioscience, PPD, Novella Clinical, and Simbec-Orion.
Steinberg has also held leadership positions at posts across Western Europe, South Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Rim.
“We are excited to have Paul join our top-level leadership team and further accelerate CBD Emporium’s rapid growth,” stated Flanders.
Steinberg has helped turnaround underperforming clinical development leading to eventual approval and sale of a product for nearly $5 billion dollars.
He has also negotiated alliances involving top-tier business partners, including UCLA, UCSF, UC Denver, Scripps, Buck Foundation, and University of Utah.
